Content and Likeness Standards

SwayTale publishes stories that are original or rights-cleared. AI-assisted production does not remove the need for human editorial review, consent or ownership records.

Required rights

Creators must control or have permission to use scripts, footage, music, voices, images, character assets and performances. A recognizable person's face or voice may be used only with documented authorization or another valid legal basis.

Not allowed

We do not permit sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual violence presented for gratification, deceptive impersonation, instructions for serious wrongdoing, or content that unlawfully infringes copyright, privacy or publicity rights.

Mature themes

Romance, emotional conflict and non-explicit mature themes may be labelled or restricted. Explicit sexual content, exploitative nudity and material designed mainly for sexual gratification are not accepted for public distribution or advertising.

Generated and remixed stories

Future generated work is private and excluded from search indexing by default. It becomes public only after automated checks and, where appropriate, human review confirm rights, consent, originality and independent viewing value. Repetitive or low-value generated pages remain excluded from search.

Reports and appeals

Report an affected URL through the Contact page. Include enough information to identify the protected work or person. We may restrict material during review, request supporting evidence and consider a good-faith appeal or counter-notice before making a final decision.
