Micro drama vs short drama

The terms overlap, but they emphasize different parts of the same viewing shift.

A short drama is the broad category: a compact scripted series with episodes and a continuing story. Micro drama usually points to the shortest end of that category, where individual chapters may last seconds or a few minutes. Vertical drama describes how a story is framed for a portrait screen rather than how long it runs.

What they share
